Best monitor for under £600?

I'm after a new monitor, I currently have an ultra wide LG monitor with 2560 x 1440 res and 60hz


I'm after something with gsync as I now have a msi gtx 980ti with a ryzen 1600x and the refresh rate and screen tare on this monitor is starting to get to me.


I'd like it to be ultra wide but as long as its not super small I don't mind I guess, something wide would be nice though.

At least 144hz


don't mind looking at second hand one's either.

Not too bothered about curve but that be really nice, more bothered about better and smoother quality

decide what is mostly important to you: TN? IPS/VA?
there are quite a few options for 144hz gsync under 600 quid and I am having the same dilemma as you on what to choose mainly because all tend to be bad

I just tried the 32" IPS 4k predator at 60 Hz and not very happy, pretty much the reviews can be believed.
