Best monitor for xbox 360?

Surely a TV (Not a monitor) is best suited for an Xbox 360?
But if a screen was too be used for a Computer/Laptop monitor + 360, then a monitor is best.

As for specific recommendations, sorry I haven't got a clue. Haven't looked at anything smaller than 30". As I too am considering a 32" TV, for my XBOX 360, but I have not budget limits per-say.

The monitor you looked at looks good, but I cant make any recommendation. Hold fast, I am sure other can give some advice.

Using my Asus 27inch IPS for my 360 via HDMI when I am not using it as a monitor.

Amazing, colours, speed etc are really great.

I just bought a Dell S2740L mainly for my Xbox. I just wasn't happy with input lag that TV's offer, even plasmas. I find this screen excellent, if you can get around the gloss/mirror like finish from the glass. And I can't notice any of the overshoot they talk about on the review below. It's IPS also, so great colours and viewing angles and no colour shift like on TN panels.

By the way if gaming on 360 only, and you are considering a 120hz gaming panel, then please don't. 120hz is only supported over dual link dvi which the 360 obviously doesn't have. Most games on 360 only run at a target 30fps if that anyway.

Sounds good.
May I ask, is that via Component or HDMI at what resolution?
I ask because i am playing on my Dell 2407WFP (Component)
No HDMI on this monitor, an the graphics isn't great.
An my Plasma dont like the 360 for what ever reason.
LG50PK590 model, is renowned for not working with 360, I find this out after year an half owner ship. PS3 is fine however.

HDMI all the way. Autodetects my 360 slim. Zero problems.

One thing, make sure on the 360, you set the HDMI colour space to RGB and the range to expanded, as this monitor will obviously support the full 0-255 range (unlike a lot of HDTV's). That way you dont get slightly washed out colours.

With the Dell S2740L how do you get around getting sound out to external speakers using a console?

Hi all, been looking for a monitor for my xbox, wanted 27'in and after a lot of researching ( and man it's been a nightmare subject !) I'm going for a Iiyama Prolite G2773HS even though the Xbox does not support 120hz, still seems an excellent choice. Wondered what you all thought.
