Best mosquito repellant/relief?

We're off to Majorca at the end of August, and the mosquitoes are supposed to be terrible over there this year.

Can anyone advise on a spray, plug in, band, relief cream, etc? The wife gets bitten to death at the best of times, so I'd rather be prepared now! Cheers.

Thanks for the replies, I've ordered some vitamin B, pyramid trek, Autan gel, Avon skin so soft, and Autan repellant, might see us through!
