As title, using Quest Tracker but would like something to spruce up the UI to make it sexier looking. I'm doing mining and blacksmithing as a profession and sell loads on the Auction House too.

Thanks.

Albeit very individual, I will list some I used to use.

Bartender4
Pitbull 4.0
Sexymap
Baudbag
SFB...or SBF....something do do with buff frames
KGPanels
Tinytip
Tinychat

Those are the ones I can remember, there were more, a lot more, but cant remember. I had my UI completely as I wanted it and loved it, sadly I lost my love for the game. Have no idea if these addons work with the current patches though.

Assuming it hasn't broken and not been updated since I quit in December, ArkInventory is probably still the best bag mod available.

Still works, I use it now.

Here is my addon folder because I can't be arsed to write 'em all down.

And I use the above to make this...

Crappy laptop gfx and res screenshot :(

That's SUF, shadowed unit frames. That, bagnon to sort out inventory, addon control panel to reload ui on the fly, quartz for a decent casting bar, postal to sort out mail, sexymap as above and prat to sort out chat, auctionator for selling. Everything else pretty much class specific. see curse and wowinterface.

Quartz cast bars.
Grid2 if you can be bothered to configure past the buggyness.
OmniCC for cooldown numbers.
Buttonfacade for decent icon textures.

Just replaced auction lite with Auctionator as listed above, see how it goes. :p

I also use:
  • ACP - Control addons in game.
  • ArkInventory - Best bag addon bar none.
  • AutoRepair - Repairs me automatically when i goto a merchant that can repair me. Good time saver.
  • Broker_TolBarad - Gives me a countdown in the chat window of 30, 15 & 5 minutes till Tol Barad, can also shout to guild channel too.
  • ChatScroll - Allows me to scroll the chat window with my mouse wheel.
  • Crapngrey - Auto sells all the grey items when i goto a merchant. Good time saver.
  • EasyMail - Makes collecting things off the AH in my mail very quick and easy.
  • FlightMap - Shows flight paths on the main map.
  • LootDB - Tells me where an item is from. Handy when im inspecting other characters and i want to know where something is from.
  • Skada - Good to monitor DPS of myself + party.
  • Cooldowns - puts a timer on the buttons/icon for abilities.
  • TitanPanal - The best of the lot. So much useful information in one bar at the top of the screen! Essential imo.

Cheers for the replies. I've got a cool down add on but i'm looking for one that i've seen on a few YouTube videos. Basically it shows the time on the button and when it's ready to use it flashes on the screen. Could do with that as i'm doing loads or Warsong Gulch.

this...

uninstall.exe

you can find it in the WoW install Directory - you will thank me in the long run :)

Right!

  • Ackis Recipe List - Database of profession's recipes, including where to learn. Can filter by level to just show ones you can learn
  • Advanced Trade Skill Window - Far more detailed profession/crafting windows with tons more info and control
  • Altoholic - I have lots of alts
  • Auctioneer - Auctions
  • Bagnon - Bags
  • Badboy antispam - Spam used to be much worse, but this just prevents gold selling spam in cities
  • Everyquest - Database of every quest in the game. Shows quests you have and have not completed, so vital for trying to get the loremaster achievements. Can query the WoW servers to get quest details, so you don't need to have had this running the whole time either
  • G15 Buttons - Adds 18 macro buttons mirroring the G15's macro keys, how I use all my skills now
  • Gatherer - For farming professions
  • LightHeaded - Updated regularly. Essentially the WoWHead database for quests, added to the side of the quest log. If you're stuck on a quest, just open up the log and you can read the WoWHead comments. Handy if you get stuck. Also links in with TomTom, so you can click some co-ordinates someone posts and it points you there and adds a waypoint.
  • LilSparky's Workshop - How I make money. Adds itself into the trade skill window, and for every recipe shows the cost of the raw incredients (using Auctioneer scan data), and the most money you can get from each item, either from selling on the AH, vending it, or disenchanting it, highlighting the ones that can make money
  • MobInfo2 - Shows a droplist, as observed by you, for each mob. Shows drops, gold, exp, and number to kill to level up. I just like it to see how often I'm getting the drops I want, nice for cloth farming since you can see what drops the most.
  • Omen 3 - Threat!
  • Postal - 'open all'. Saves so much time when AHing
  • Recount - E-peen stats for dungeons
  • SilverDragon - Database of all rare monsters, watches the cache and pops up whenever a rare/elite is loaded up, so you can go and kill them
  • Titan - As said above, really handy bar
  • TomTom - Waypoints
  • Deadly Boss Mods - For dungeons

I don't actually use any UI mods besides Titan. I tried a few, but just couldn't get along with them. The default UI has done me well this far, and I know my way around it, so I can't be bothered messing around and changing things now :3

Also, the Curse client. Keeps most addons up to date, and can download the latest version without needing to load up any websites. There's a few addons that haven't been uploaded, but it saves so much time, especially when large patches happen.
