Best Motherboard to use with 5950X, is there anything new comming out?

If you havn't already, flash your bios to version 2311 and you will be good to go with the 5950x.
Under extreme tweaker/PBO you will see a new section called FBO Max.

If you have a read here: https://www.overclock.net/threads/a...erclocking-discussion-thread.1728796/page-145 you will see what it is and what it does. It's well worth using it with your current 3950x to get used to it, the difference in performance is astonishing. Don't use it in conjunction with Ryzen Master, in fact if you have Ryzen Master installed, uninstall it and re-flash the bios.

Your mobo is well capable of handling a 5950x.

Gigabyte Auros Master also gets very good reviews. Very good power delivery compared to the competition from what I understand. What I've bought for mine anyway :-)

That board will be fine.... We tried it and Hero... Didn't try Impact yet.... But I suspect impact the best on mems and efficiency..

Asus is releasing a new mothboard for the 5000 series ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero looks good.
