My brother birthday is coming up and he wants a mouse. I am spending around £20 on him, not much more.
He plays shooters and RPGs mainly.

Thank you. Anyone else got any other suggestions? The Kinzu is the one I am looking at.

Personally would not get the Kinzu, simply because i like to have a back and forward button, for me it is essential for browsing and gaming.

So i would get this

YOUR BASKET
1 x Steelseries Ikari Optical Mouse (62000) £22.98
Total : £27.97 (includes shipping : £4.16).

But i would rather add another £10 and get this

YOUR BASKET
1 x Logitech G300 Gaming Mouse (910-002489) £29.99
Total : £33.90 (includes shipping : £3.26).

But the ikari has bad reviews on amazon. Or are they lies.

I've been using a cheap Saitek Cyborg V.3 gaming mouse for the last couple of years and it's never let me down... Nothing fancy, but it does the job just fine ;).

Looking at it, I'm not sold on the g300's button placements but it's one of those things you'd need to try to be sure I guess.

Xpy, what size hands does your bro have?

You get what you pay for i suppose, i have had 2 Gigabyte mice fail on me, by that i mean the buttons broke, no idea how, Gigabyte refused to deal with it, and told me to speak to the place i bought it from.

You really cannot go wrong with Logitech, high quality mice with a superb customer service, but as i said you get what you pay for :)

The people giving the ikari bad reviews are the kind of people who'd give it a 5 star review if it was covered in led's, had 6000 dpi blah blah. Those people can't appreciate a well engineered back to basics mouse.

Its a bare bones mouse BUILT for fps gaming. Combine it with a decent cloth mousepad and you have all you need.
