Best mouse for under £20

I have a really old logitech mx laser mouse that I got for free from freecycle, and a Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0, and its time to replace one of them (within a budget ). I have checked out many different mice but Its hard to tell which ones are geniunely better than others.

SO, any ideas?

what do you use it for?

for me any will do and i play games, i just just use any laser/Optical one.

i've had better ones but never really saw any difference, now keyboards, thats dfferent.

ive spent double of your budget on a mouse before and tbh, like i said above, didn't see any difference with it, i didn't link any as you can read all, but playing a game, can't say any made a difference to me, it's not like a cpu where you can benchmark it against something else, if it works and feels good and moves well and fits your hand, buy it, if it doesn't don't, reviews of mouse and mats saying this and that doesn't mean squat in the real gaming world as i've seen some right old donkeys used in lan matches, to me most are gimmicks, but could be wrong, at nearly 45 years old it wont be the first time, i'd spend more on a good keyboard, but any cheap mouse would do, just change them each year when mucky.....

Sorry you have that completely the wrong way round.

I skimp on the keyboard but I use a decent mouse, I don't get how a keyboard can help gaming unless you get one with lots of macro keys and you play mmo's.

G400 all the way imo, the ergonomics are tried and proven, good amount of buttons and a great optical engine.

The Steelseries Ikari is suppose to be a really good mouse for FPS games, going from the reviews i have watched/read

Im mostly going to use it for gaming.

I think I might just get the Ikari then and if i tell no difference then so be it, lesson learnt.. I think the problem is I have used the same mice for so many years I just wouldnt know what difference new ones would actually make
