Best mouse for under £30

Logitech G400 for that money. Sometimes I've seen the Razer Deathadder on offer for a touch above £30, I'd advise the Deathadder if you see it for around that money...

The CM Xornet is not a bad little mouse. It's small and light, the G400 if bigger and heavier.

So, Xornet for fingertip / claw grip, G400 for palm grip or if you prefer bigger mice.

Best mouse for what, and for whose hand? Mice seem to me to be as individual as shoes. However, for general use I'm currently using Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 which I got on a well-known auction site for under £15. I have a wide short hand with short fingers and it suits me really well. I liked the first one so much i got another one for the laptop.

Agree with cats_five!

A very individual choice. I personally have a soft spot for Razor but there have been plenty of others (Logitech, Ozone, Steelseries, Microsoft, Nexus, Gigabyte, etc...) that have also ticked many boxes in a variety of different ways.
