Hey

until yesterday i didn't really think a mouse made that much of a difference while gaming, my online special deal mouse i bought for about 99p a year ago was wearing think so bought myself a microsoft 6000 laser mouse, wow what a change!

but then my brother mentioned his was broken so have given him that and treated myself to a saitek gm3200 :D

what is everybody else using? any preferences?

Razer Diamondback.

For one main reason. Every mouse i've tried after that has this ANNOYING little thing where it keeps tracking when you lift it up to move it back to the centre of the mat.

My Copperhead did that, my MX518 did that and I just can't stand it. Very wary about trying new mice now and for that reason when it comes to get a new one i'll probably just try get a Diamondback again.

I didn't find the copperhead ergonomic at all, I don't think it was designed for human hands, the side buttons are a nightmare! I didn't find it very responsive for the small movements either (although you can make it ultra sensitive, mine doesn't seem to acknowledge the small movements I need for sniping someon.

I also swear that the sensor is buggered, the sensor seems to be mounted at a really weird angle.

But besides that, it's been really good.

I really like the feel of it and because of the big buttons I get frustrated using ordinary mice with normal buttons as I exect there to be a button there but its just the body. I don't find any problems with the side buttons either
