Bang on. A game that keeps people playing for 3+ years & Still attracts new players can not be described as "It Sucks".

I used to love BF2, purely because you had something to aim for rather than: Join server, choose side, kill people, die, respawn, die, respawn kill people to get kill streak up.

There were many shooters out when I started seriously gaming and purpose building PC's for the job, it just happened that my sisters boyfriend at that time and his mate were madly into it and made sense that I followed their little online rampage with them

I also remember loving a game called Project IGI (not multiplayer I know) but back in early 2000 I think, it was a pretty good game, always mean't to get the 2nd one but never did lol.

As for BF:2 it is an excellent game and I still have it installed now and have all 3 expansions for it, only thing for me which is annoying with that game is the BSOD's that I get playing it on Vista. If it weren;t for those I would very much be a regular online player, anyone know a fix lol?

Agreed RTCW for me has been the most fun ive had playing a mutliplayer game. Well, I probably enjoyed ET:Wolf slightly more as the leveling part of it was really great.
On a side note RTCW was the first game i broke 1500 hours online on the Xbox.

Yeah I played it briefly, tbh nothing better than playing De_Fang where you couldnt turn the gamma up and had to use NV
