Best music app now?

I still use winamp, and don't bother with art its fast and plays every file type

also found streamus whilst browsing reddit and use that allot now. same reason I use winamp fast and hassle free

Still Winamp for me as it does all I need - been using it since my first pc - I do use musicbee but more so for help tracking down tagging issues than for playing music. I have used Foobar in the past but it has no benefit to me over Winamp.

All development has stopped I believe - there were rumours about it being bought out so development could continue but I don't think anything came of that.

I still use Winamp, development may have stopped but it supports all music formats so no reason to stop using it.

I still use winamp. So used to it over the years. Was thinking about trying MusicBee on my new rig but it looked like a lot of work setting it up. In the end just installed Winamp.

Apparently they are working on a new version of it.

I tend to use Google Play a lot now so my music is available on all devices. I'm too lazy to maintain playlists on there and separate ones on my PC as well.

I use MusicBee myself and find it pretty good, I used to just use WMP but got annoyed with it splitting music up in to different areas (though that could have been due to badly done ID3 tags).

WinAmp - Nuff said.

My music is stored on E: in a simple folder system

E:\ TYPE \ Artist \ Album \ Track

e.g

E:\MP3\Metallica\Black\01-Enter SandMan.MP3

That way I dont need a stupid program to organise a thing, I simply go to the folder that I want a file, according to that way, and if I dont have it, its not EXACTLY where its supposed to be.

I also dont give a stuff about playlists either, even though WinAmp does them great, I simply use winamp on my PC, phone and tablet and searching for the tracks I need is a matter of split seconds.. .Most of the time its a damned sight faster than silly playlists too!
