I wasn't so much laughing at the "cgi" but them dancing about halfway through the video, hope that doesn't make me racist in some convoluted way.
 
It's certainly not the best video ever but very funky and suprisingly watchable. The dancing is great. I can imagine people trying that in clubs, infact this could be massive if released over here, we are suckers for CGI!

For a good video watch Voodoo People by Prodigy (pendulum remix) or Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin.
 
i move for a forum ban on all these "what's the best......" threads. there's no such thing as the best.

I would support a ban but allow threads with a disclaimer along the lines of "In Your Opinion"

But since they come along every week I would rather they be limited.
 
After further consideration I think it is microtonal... a lot of the accompanyment is created through unpitched instruments...

Intersting idea becasue hardly any, if at all Western music is microtonal... in fact, only a few instruments can play microtonally without adjustment and even few players can use their instruments microtonally...

It took a lot of study and instrument crafting for us to arrive at equal temprement, but I have never really understood whether this was a good thing or not. Its meant we can have massive orchestrations sharing the same pitch, but I quite like the idea of the originality of such music produced in this alien temprement...

and yeah, i think it's the fact that we have about 2 a day that gets on my nerves. i guess i just shouldn't open the thread, but i do love a good moan/derailment

it's not that, i'll be honest, i didnt even watch the video...it's the genre of thread that it falls into. dont take it personally :)
