Have decided I'm going to get one of these soon as seem to be the best of the bunch in terms of pod type machines but there does seem to be a wide range of them available.

Therefore am looking for some advice / pointers on what features to look out for and which machines I should look at. Budget up to £200 mark I expect. :)

ps please don't tell me I should be looking at 'proper' bean to cup machines or alternative solutions using grinders and aeropresses or whatever. I'm after a simple, convenient, no mess solution as a better alternative to instant please! :p

I bought the Nespresso Essenza by Krups bundle (with Aeroccino) for my girlfriend for Christmas and it's great. Since then my best mate has also bought one and another friend has asked for one for his birthday from his gf too.

The price of them seems to fluctuate a fair bit. I got mine from John Lewis for £130 in November but my best mate got his bought for him in January for £90, and now it's back up to £160. You also got a free £40 voucher to buy capsules with from Nespresso but that deal's ended now too.
