I'm thinking of selling my Asus TF101 Transformer as I've come to realise I'm more of a lappy-type person, due mainly to the fact my peepers aint what they used to be...and my hand/eye co-ordination is all at sea atm!

The plus sides of using a tablet over a netbook are:-

The battery life......FORGET about it! The TF101 seems to last forever! I can leave it sleep (with Auto-airplane mode) for like a WEEK...and it's still there to use!

The downside is, I keep touching the wrong part of the screen - due to my carp eyesight....

I NEED a powerful desktop (for video rendering etc...) - which I have, and am more than happy with.....but for the occasional jaunt on the net when the 'Mrs' is on the main machine and I'm waiting to pounce - I could do with a decent-ish netbook!!

I'm going on hols this summer and will be taking it with me for wi-fi hotspots etc....so I'm looking to sell/swap the Transformer for something more suited for ol Bat-Eyes here....

Any suggestions?? Ta VM....

A quick search brought this up just under 250 quid.

Asus are a great brand.

However netbooks are just as small as the TF101 wrt res.

Hope this helps.

Top Man....just looked at a few reviews and it looks OK for what I'm looking for.....

Thx for the pointer ;)

The TF101 with keyboard beats a netbook any day if you ask me. Does yours have the dock? If you so chose you never even have to touch the screen. I love the mix of keyboard, trackpad/buttons and touchscreen.
