I'm looking for an ultra portable netbook.

The only requirements are a decent resolution screen. I can't stand 1024x600 screens or even 1024x768. Anything above that is fine.

Max Budget: £300

Cheers.

Lenovo x121 with the AMD chips should come under budget and has a 1366 x 768 res screen

Sounds good. Can't find it anywhere though. Do you have a specific model number I should be looking for?

Edit:

Found it Lenovo site... thanks for that... is perfect for what I need it for.

P.S. Anyone ever used it or played with one? How is it.

I'm using one.

Excellent netbook. Build quality is superb. No creaking, squeeks, flexing keyboard etc. Trackpad takes a bit of time to get used to. Battery life is around 7 or so hours with the 6 cell battery.

Primary use for me is web browsing, office, etc and it handles all that with ease. Can also handle some light gaming too. I play Team Fortress 2 at 1366 x 768 (textures on med, everything else on low) quite happily.

Theres a big thread further down with more users. Be aware that it also contains users with the Intel version (more sub-notebook than netbook of the AMD).
