Best none Chromium web browser?

Edge is good if you don't care about privacy, Firefox is my recommendation for everyone else (and is as good as Edge anyway). I would switch the standard search engine from Google to Bing though, as I find that much nicer.

ff too
initial facetious reply I assume you may dislike some characteristics of chrome (which?) and want a better web browser, as opposed to "think Chrome is rubbish what other rubbish browsers exist" .

What platform do you use (tablet/laptop,ram) what are your priorities ?
- secure browsing (but may need to put in effort for configuration)
- aesthetics of gui (often facilitated by addons : tabs vertical&load/unload, session saving, bookmark management)
- good rendering performance, small memory footprint
- compatible with any web site

Firefox has been my goto for >5years, tried chrome, edge, use IE for occasional incompatible site.
On 8gb laptop w/mouse, usually run several browsers 2ff, 1IE, if visiting new sites will use 2nd ff so that any poorly coded sites will not disrupt work in 1st ff in which I just access sites I use regularly.
(I have stuck with edge on a 7" touch windows tablet where do less serious browsing)

Like the idea of permanently switching to Bing, I find I use it more and more, you get more varied search result, I find what I want, not what google wants to show me .
