Best of a bad bunch (spec me an ISP).

Hey all,

My ISP UKonline is closing down, so I'm on the hunt for a new ISP.

So.. pick me one from the ones available in my area.

Tempted by Sky LLU, but their phone support is dire and I have no interest in Sky TV.

Opinions welcome.

Out of that list the obvious choice here would be Sky, personally I wouldn't touch anyone else on that list thats available to you, even though you say Sky's support is slightly lower than average (cant comment on this as iv never used them), you will more than likely have a much worse experience with the others no questions about it.

Sky's LLU service as part of a bundle from them is probably the best out of that lot, no personal experience but they seem to be well rated on here.

Wouldn't touch any of the others with a ****ty stick.

I can't comment on how they would deal with a problem, as so far there have been none, but my experience with them has been nothing short of excellent.

Sky for sure. Never had any issues that weren't sorted promptly.

Go for sky, as already mentioned its the same company so in theory you'd get the same connection as you do now.

£10 for Unlimited LLU @ Sky. 12 month contract though.

As a standalone llu, be* or 02.

If you have an o2 mobile you can get discount.

My line is only capable of 16-18meg, and my 02 connection is fully capable of maxing it out, for less than ten quid a month.
