Best OLED 65" under £2k?

just go onto john lewis and buy the most expensive one within budget.

then google the model number see if it's cheaper elsewhere and get them to price match it.

you can do price matches 28 days before or after buying said tv.

more expensive models sometimes have the same panel but more features. like 3D. 3D is being phased out though by everyone as of 2017. so you may want to look at older models.

best tv? no such thing usually just best for your circumstances. no tv is perfect you will have to live with some sort of flaw. some people are more perceptive of certain flaws over others so will avoid tv's with those flaws.

I have none OLED in my office for my PS4 Pro, Samsung ks7500 which I find fantastic, OLED just looks so damn nice but maybe it's overkill for what I want and I think I'll struggle with the budget. Really want 65" too..

OLED really is the best tech. it's still being refined though and since it's new it's still quite expensive.

65" is HUGE you will always pay a premium for it. i think the best bang for buck atm for any tv regardless of tech is the 55" market. in a few years that will shift to 60" then maybe in 5-10 years shift to the 65" market.

Hmmm....already have 55", definitely want bigger! Maybe I'll stretch the budget, wife wanted a new bed but TV gets priority.

like above , OLED is still quite new tech , and as such creates its own problems , have a look at the reviews for the DX902b

Will a 65" fit in your room without looking too big and overpowering it?

Doing home visits back in day all too often people have TV's that are too big for the room and it looks a pig.

You'd get the 55" LG in your budget potentially with some free extras i.e soundbar.

Not OLED , but i'm loving my panasonic (even lol) DX902b
Same here, was going to get the 65" oled but would have been too big for my room.

Ended up with the 58" dx902b Panasonic tv. Which is a superb tv for my usage.

Yeah I know what you mean, my lounge is pretty big, in fact the 55" looks small if anything! 65" will fit snug in the corner. Not sure what to do....!

if you want 65" then apparently the hisense is alright. my dad has it and i think it's alright but i'm used to high end panels. it's not something i would get personally but for the money it's stupidly good as it's a HUGE tv for very little.

you could easily get a top end sony / samsung / lg lcd within budget. oled then no chance.

drop the OLED requirement IMO. it's good but atm it's just not worth it. make sure you get an LCD with FALD though. forget anything with edgelit lighting if you want a great tv. edgelits suck when you get into the 60" and bigger markets.

Well that depends, if you only upgrade rarely OLED can't be beat. I'd just save longer to get a 65" OLED. I don't think I've read anyone say they would go back to LED after owning one.

Out of interest guys, those who have a 65" TV, did you collect it or get it delivered? If you collected what car do you have? Just seeing if I would be able to collect when I eventually choose
