As title suggests I'm looking for a operator that loves people who text.

Currently on Orange, but they suck. I'm lucky if I receive a text message when it's actually sent (have a excellent reception). I left O2 due to their poor handling of my MMS issue.

I can send upwards of 50+ texts a day. So 500+ is a minimum. Don't need minutes, I never phone anyone.

PAYG looking for a contract if that isn't obvious :p

I'd prefer a 12 month contract, but 18 month isn't out of the question. I'll pay £50-100 towards a phone if need be.

It's amazing that I miss this deal isnt it. :mad: I'm currently on the look out for a cheap contract with a lot of texts too.

I seen the 1100 deal, but 3 won't take my debit card (Visa Electron), and my credit card is maxed.

Been with T-Mobile before. They begged me to stay (literally) I'll have a look at the FlexT plans though.

What plans inparticular? I havent found anything good at all.
The best I have found is on 3. 1000 texts 100mins any network.. £20 p/m.
Any.
Unless things have changed, you get 1000 extra texts on any contract on the 12month, and 1500 on the 18.
Although i think the minimum contract was a £25 one. Might be worth checking though.
You have to be a student though to get those.

As for non-students, not sure, i'd like to know that as well. :p.

Ah I musnt have looked good enough, I'll have a dig about now :p.

T-Mobile

FlexT 30 - up to 450mins/or 900 texts - £25PM - N95 for £9.99 (not bad)

FlexT 35 - up to 900mins/or 1800 texts - £30PM - N95 for free

Double my texts for an extra fiver :D Only issue with Tmobile is the below average reception in some areas.

I'll do some more research tomorrow. Time for bed. Due up in 5 hours :(

If you don't mind not having a phone with the contract, i'd say get the o2 simplicity (sim only) contract, and best thing is, if you don't like it, give them 30 day;s notice at any time and that's it, it's cancelled. i.e.:
£20 anytime sim only tariff:
* 400 UK minutes and 1000 UK texts each month
* Plus unlimited O2 to O2 calls
* Free voicemail
* Browse the internet on your mobile for up to £1 per day
* Plus get 24-7 Football free during your first month. Find out more
* Free itemised online billing

orange - 600mins, unlim txts, £25 amonth, no phone, sim only contract, 30days cancellation notice, o2 do it too.

jus got meself one of these o2 simplicity cards

600 any network mins + 500 texts + unlimited o2 to o2 calls = 25 quid a month, prob cheaper online.

and seein tha i mostly call people and there all on o2 its happy days :D

and if you get fed up with it you can cancell it with a months notice, so your not tied down with 12-18 months contracts.

tmobile is total arse if you don't want the web n walk stuff or want to send loads of texts, it's good value if you only use the minutes.
I pay £35 a month after cashback for 1200 minutes and unlimited texts on vodafone.
For 1200 minutes OR loads of texts it'd cost me a lot more on tmobile.

I'd say go to a phone shop, say you want about 1000 texts, 100 minutes (they'll come in handy), with a phone you want. See what they offer you, pick a deal, then just talk them down to a reasonable price with a cashback deal (about £15 after cashback is about right), you can also get them to chuck in free stuff, memory cards etc. I've done it loads of times, the salesmen do anything to sell you the phone.

really you need to look at orange's tarriffs.. im moving onto 600mins unlim texts on a sim only package, i can cancel with 30days written notice whenever I want and its only £25, you will never go over that £25 lets face it.. 600mins and unlim texts.
I was being offered all sorts of phones to take it out as a contract with a 12-18month commitment but I just wasnt willing to.

I was on an Orange tariff that got me unlimited texts. Turned out it was costing me about £15p/m than my old T-Mobile flext so I'm back with them. Can't recommend them highly enough.
