Best optical drive...

Hmm, theres plenty of choices for DVD-RW drives (internal), so much so that I'm confused by the choice.

I've got a Thermaltake Lanbox (silver) so I reckon its needs to be silver , and I wouldn't mind having a retail version.

Budget would be £30 absoloute max but I dont think I need to spend that much do I?

not really the best place to post this but iirc most of then are very similar now and all of a good standard. Just pick one and go crazy if not try and post in the optical storage and writing section.

NEC or Pioneer used to be pretty safe bets, I think I'd add Samsung to that list now but as Aero says they all appear to be much of a muchness. I reckon all drives are fairly competent by this point.
