Best OS?

What's the best Operating System for me? I'm going to use an AMD Phenom X3 720 BE, primarily for gaming, and I'm wondering what OS I should go for? Help me out please =)

I'd say give Windows 7 a try - It's free for a year

If you're gaming on a modern system, Vista or Windows 7 64

Bear in mind W7 is not retail yet but it's 99% of the way there.

Yeah like others have said Vista 64 bit Home Premium or Ultimate would get my vote.
