P965 and the Nforce 6 are the best. Obviously the Nforce 6 allows Sli so it is probably the best OCer for the truly hardcore gamer.

theres newish 650 chipset fatal1ty board, there usually good clockers, and 88GBP is pretty good for LGA775 board

After using all three (965/975/680i) I found the 680i to be the best overclocker overall - mainly due to the wealth of options available. Other than that the 965 is also a very good overclocker especially if high FSB is needed (6300/6400).

965 is the most popular, but the 650i is also very good. Offers most of the features of the 680 at a much cheaper price.

True - if the 650i was out at the same time as the 680i I would have gone for that instead.
