Best overclocking tools

im looking to overclock my 8800gts for the 1st time, want to see the difference when i install my new duorb cooler, been reading around the forums and its looks like riva tuner seems the best option for this, i would like to benchmark my system to as i have never done it but wanted to no what the best program was for this, i have heard 3d mark 6 is good but was not sure if the free version would give me enough results, curious to no what everyone else uses?

The best option is EVGA Precision, it's simple and easy to use.

Try using the Resident Evil 5 benchmark to test performance.

ok mate thanks for that, is there a crysis benchmark i can use to test my performance?

I think so but you need to own the game presumably, the Resident Evil 5 benchmark is standalone, there's also a Street Fighter 4 benchmark and a Stalker one.

ok cool i do have crysis so will give it a go i just ran a 3d test on the basic edition of
3dmark06, i have not overclocked anything and this was my score 12750 is that any good for a stock system? 8800GTS Phenom II 955 CPU
