Morning,

I've got the job of painting all the external timber coming up, it's not cladding as such just pretend Tudor wood style stuff. I've been looking at going for Sadolin Superdec and just going to paint it black (it's currently a very dark brown). Can anyone confirm Superdec is decent, or recommend a better paint?

I don't want to be doing this again for a while...

Thanks!

Thanks chaps, I had heard good things about Zinsser and have used their bulleye primer with great success so may go down that route, only a quid or two more than the Sadolin stuff.

It's definitely wood, the 'stuff' was more in reference to the fact it was Tudor style and I think I'd rather it was just 'brick style' so I never have to paint it :D

Well...I made a start see below... for some reason on the north facing bit it's gone a bit misty...bit confused, did two coats...not sure if it was too cold overnight and maybe condensation or something, moisture got to it? It seems to wipe off but is rather annoying...don't believe there was anything weird underneath that bit compared to the right side...
