Got a opt 146 and want to o/c it as much as possible (its the CACJE 0604CPAW cpu steppings so hopefully fingers crossed it should clock well like the other ppl in the forums has) but im struggling on the mobo selection. I want a quiet computer and a lot of the noise comes from the chipset fan on the mobo, so i want a passive cooler if possible.

What would ppl recommend for me? Im willin to pay £100 and can push over that if u can convince me to ;) been lookin at the Abit KN8 SLi nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard as its a good price and has the feactures that i want but does it o/c well? Does the Asus A8N-SLi Premium nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard o/c well? Or should i forget all this and just get the DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard and stop me whinging?

Thnx for any advice.

I have the A8N Premium and I have had the HTT over 300 on it before so I would class it as a good clocker. I bought this board because of the passive heatpipe too.

I have the AN8-Ultra, so it can't be a direct comparison to the KN8, but I like the ABit heatpipe, I have my chipset overvotled to 1.8V, and it the heatpipe cools it quite nicely to 35 degrees.
