My current case has very little space for cable management so a few of the cables are shoved into the optical drive bay and the rest are shoved into the hard drive cage. I would like a case with more room behind the mobo tray for cable management. any reccomendations? I would like a window (because otherwise what's the point of better cable management) but no window is fine too. I cut a window in my old case with my dremel and some perspex as the window itself. I was contemplating the Corsair Air 540, but it might be a bit big for my desk.

Phanteks usually have good cable management across their entire range of cases. It's all about how big case you are after.

540 is good due to its split chamber design. Plenty if room in the psu chamber. Good airflow too due to no hdd cages at the front.

Depending on what case you want... the Corsair 500R has a lovely big bulge in the back panel specifically for stuffing a whole spaghetti junction load of cables in.
I notice a number of their other cases have started using this feature.

To clarify, I will simply be moving my guts from my current case (antec VSP5000) into a different case. I am changing case because there is no room for cable management behind the mobo tray
