Well my friend wants new pc .Hes got 500 to spend .Hes got a monitor and case already(no psu) he also needs xp as well.Whats best gaming pc components for this amount. He doesnt need keyboard mouse or speakers either.
Would like a x fi card aswell . pls work your magic thanks.

Slightly over the budget and doesn't include an X-Fi since onboard is usually pretty good but this should offer a good solid PC with a fair bit of overclocking potential. :)

Hes not a oc wants best speed possible so a 4300 4400 not much good for him sorry should have put this.

Well if he doesn't want to overclock then he could buy a cheaper motherboard and an X-Fi but he isn't going to find much faster than the 4300 for the price, even at stock because in the AMD range he'd need to be getting an X2 4400 or above to beat it. :)

heres what i come up with bit over but about best i can do.

Tell him he should overclock, its just a case of upping the FSB for most moderate OCs. Also go with semi-pro's spec as the OP's one has a CPU that hasn't been released yet.
