Z is better than the actual game IMO

Dawn of War as mentioned

Diablo2 has some very good cinematics, the intro doesn't stand out in particular per se but is still excellent

There's been quite a few good racers down the years, the need for speed series in particular.

Mech Warrior 2. I remember when it came out and everyone was outraged that it took 100mb to install the intro. But it was so amazing, It was showing us the future of videogames....

Oh, I completly forgot Flashback!! I watched it again recently and if i hadnt watched it one christmas morning when I was young, wouldn't of known what the fuss was about.

I used to just rest the megadrive to watch it over and over. Brilliant game, probably the best I have ever played. Can't get off the first level now tho

Another vote for Dawn of War, blew me away at the time, always luved the 40k Universe, the dreadnaught coming through the smoke was great

Some up and coming games from the games workshop have some pretty nifty trailers as well.

Diablo II was awesome, as is World of Warcraft. Good ol' Blizzard

Others ones for me include Gran Turismo 3 (with Feeder

), Zelda:Ocarina of Time background menu footage, Red Alert 2 and the obligitory nod to Half Life
