Best Games in the 2000-2004 era

Ive played nearly every game from 2004-2007, all the popular ones, but not many ones from back a bit further back from 2000-2004, whichs ones from around then were the best?

Mohaa imo, also ut 2k3.
@ that time I was still busy with rts games like aoe2 & aom, but played mohaa too...
Oh and GTA 3.

never played mohaa, only ever played moh underground on PS1, is it the one where the first level is on the beach? or was that frontline?

Unfortunately by limiting yourself to 2000 onwards you are missing out on Freespace 2 from 1999

No landing on beach is mission 3, mission 1 is in tobruk iirc, thats in mohaa anyhow.

Hmm didnt know CoD came out b4 2k4, highly recommend it, also vice city.

I loaded MoH:AA the other day, bloody thing keeps crashing at the second stage of mission 5, where you drive the Tiger Tank.

Yes v1.00 often does, patch it up.

It's fully patched up to 1.11 though. The funny thing is that it's crashing at the exact same spot each and every time. Right after you take out the two tanks that come at you, just after blowing the machine-gun tower up, and enter the village straight after.

Hmm I renember mine crashed @ that level too, without the patch, then a year later when I started playing online, thus had to patch, i replayed the whole game, and it went past the tiger mission, try perhaps going back 2 checkpoints might be some earlier thing that causes it to crash.
