As its not been mentioned yet, if your playing on keyboard or even pad stay away from Test Drive Unlimited 2 (not sure about 1 but I'm guessing its the same) the driving model is horrendous. Using a good wheel its quite fun and the driving model almost acceptable for free roam, chase modes and similiar stuff but far too rigid and lacking in precision/too clumsy at low speeds to be fun for proper racing. It is amazingly fun for blasting it down main roads dodging traffic where finesse isn't required but first time you come to a round-about or need to turn off onto another road you will wince at how clumsy it is.

Really enjoy grid, but i broke my xbox pad, gotta get another as it's horrible trying to play with the keyboard.
 
I enjoy grid but I found it best on keyboard myself, no matter what controller I use it seems to be full on/off even with a wheel which sucks.
