Best PC single player FPS?

Got a new acer x34 monitor and new mouse so really craving playing a new FPS but im totally crap at playing online, so would really like something single player.
What would you guys suggest?
I got Doom a few months ago and been enjoying that but fancy a change.

Borderlands 2 is very fun, even solo, but Co-op is where it's at.

Yes, the Wolfenstein games are a good suggestion.

Hard Reset and the Shadow Warrior titles are others that you might like.

Read the title and thought of Doom immediately but it seems you have that covered in the OP

Another vote for Borderlands 2, although it can look quite dated now.
FEAR is very old now but it has timeless gameplay.
Stalker is basically the Citizen Kane of PC shooters but it's a product of its time as well and can take some getting used to.

Finished FEAR on the xbox 360 years ago, loved it.
Actually have Borderlands 2 but not played it, might have a go

Its worth giving it a go, it does look dated compared to modern games but its 6 years old (I think). Some great, fast gameplay in places and its good online as its co-op. Loads of extras available for it too, the 4 main DLC packs add a load of extra content to it. There are also mini add-ons which give a bit of extra gameplay (theyre called Headhunter packs) although I havn't actually played any of them.

I'd agree with Borderlands 2. Brilliant FPS, Excellent stories, characters, weapons and humour. Can't really go wrong!

STALKER Call of Pripyat is the best first person shooter ever made.

Prey is also fantastic.

Metro games are amazing.

Titanfall 2 is pretty fun.
