Best PCI-E card for £150 max?

Honestly? I am not quite sure. The OcUK page for the version I linked to claims X1900XT performance, but I and some others on this forum wonder how that works as the hardware is just not there.

If you are confident the Sapphire model is as good, which is probably is, then get the cheaper Sapphire model as that will cack on a 7900GS even if it's not got claimed "X1900XT Performance" like the other. :)

the only difference i can see is the powercolor one runs at slightly faster clock speed and has AC accelero cooler :)

None of the tests and benchmarks I've seen put the x1950 pro in the same league as the x1900xt. It was, after all, made to replace the x1900gt, which is a mainstream card.

Yup nowhere near x1900 XT performance, look what they said about the x1950 XTX 'it whoops the GX2' etc... etc... and look how that turned out, 1x frame faster than a much cheaper x1900 XTX, and the GX2 whizzes all over it, the only difference between those 2x is the Powercolor one has 20mhz more on the core, and and one of those Ac coolers on it,**** me what a difference, it will **** all over the Sapphire one NOT. :D
