best pci wireless card?

My friend is looking for a new pci wireless card - the walls of his house are very thick and his current one can't pick up the signal. so, what wireless card has the best range? His budget is £30.

Could try USB, then if necessary put it on a USB lead to locate in a better position. Any chance of using a Cat 5/6 cable though?

Does he have a Wireless-N router? If so, I'd go for a Linksys WMP600N. May be slightly over his budget though.

But yes, USB might be an option as well, they're quite a lot easier to position for ideal coverage.
