i've been lookin for pda's recently. But am quite frankly bewildered by the choice. I dunno whats hot and whats not. So basically, whats the best value pda out there?

Edit: woo second thread in a new forum!

Dell x50v here. I use it for TomTom on the road and MemoryMap for walking. When used with an extended battery it will last a reasonable time. Used to use it for watching mpegs etc, but that was before my Ipod Video!

My chief gripe is that it will not sync. with Thunderbird! I'm dreading it dying as they are no longer available.

I bought an Acer n50 yonks ago, which still serves its purpose for tomtom and for reading emails in the middle of the night. Nothing innovative seems to have come out from the PDA market - that shouts, 'buy me!' Just make sure any PDA you buy has both bluetooth and wifi.
