i know Adobe Reader is free and all, but is there anything better for navigation or reading documents before i download adobe reader

Thanks.

Do any of these let you take a PDF which is set for A4 and merge two pages in a single A3 page for printing?

I've got an electronic catalogue I'd like to print - that has tables which go across two A4 pages that I'd like to print as a single A3 page.

i've actually found Foxit to be a little slower than the latest adobe reader releases, but it still wins on functionality
Really?!

I'm starting to get slightly fed up with Foxit. Not as fast and clean as it used to be. New features getting introduced that mean it doesn't do what its makers say it should!

Might give the latest Adobe Reader a 'trial'. ;)

I tried FoxIt on one of my machines, and it didn't deal with my Galant's service manual (which is multiple files linked to each other) - whereas Adobe Reader didn't have any problems.

There's also an annoying advert in the top right corner of FoxIt which I'm not too keen on!

Foxit installs a forced toolbar in v3. :(

Edit: I stand corrected.

If you download the .exe, it has a forced toolbar.
I then downloaded the zip and the .exe inside it didn't have the toolbar.
