best performance for £100 second hand

I would like to make my old i7 860 into a working machine and all that is left is a gpu. I'm looking to spend £100 max. I have an sli and xfire capable motherboard. I have a 500watt psu with a 6pin and 6+2pin connector.

My cpu is hooked up to a h60 refurb so I think I have a fair amount of cpu overclocking room so I would like a card to make the most of this power.

Is £100 secondhand 7850 territory?
Is £100 secondhand 6950 territory? How does this compare to a 7850?

I can just about get 2x 550ti's for £100. Will this offer better performance for the money?
