Hi all My items get borrowed or taken and when asked for them back I get told its not mine, they went out and got a new item and paid for it.

I cant do much about this because its family, my parents are too nice and I dont want to get into arguments because I still family even if they do things like this

I'm looking for some suggestion.which is a good Permanent Marker I could by that will not get washed or wiped off too easily ?

I know nothing will be permanent but at least it wont be too easy.

As already said, uv marker and cheapo uv light source.
But more importantly you can’t just say ‘items’ - we must know what items to fully understand your situation. Was it a packet of crisps they stole, your car, dammit man we need to know how serious this situation is!!

Anything and everything really, various items anything that you wont notice that is missing instantly.
from items from the kitchen (bowls, pots, glassware) to tools inc drills sanders, to even the iron to high end items like expensive light lights, laptop ext,
from the items taken only 1/8 is returned

I once fetched couple of tubs of pain, filler rollers to paper paste to do up a room, before I got a chance they wondered off ( found out later someone else was using it)
another time I got .lucky and got load of working ex cat returns because I did not need them i put them away till I could get a chance to sort them, I noticed high end microwave and a few other bits went missing.

Its never been anything over £50 so far mostly lower value things but it get annoying when your looking for something and find out its missing.

I dont like to say it but some people are selfish.

I would not mind as much if i was not lied to or told about it first.
