I'm moving to my own place on 1st Nov and want to get some decent bedding. I've looked at Dunelm but wondering if there are other places worth looking at as well.

Suggestions?

next/tesco/sainsburys

bought from all of those places and they seem fine. tbh I just buy from what I (SWMBO) like the look of

One to try is Debenhams, they have a lot of "designer" bedding like jasper conran, kylie, etc. but because they bring out the "new" designs quite frequently they end up with last "seasons" stuff discounted, upto 70% in some instances. Its usually high quality, no polyester in sight :D

I tend to find Asda or Sainsburys are usually clearing some old lines or something and we pick up decent double sets for about a tenner.

oh nice, thanks! Will keep that in mind!

Anyone found these supermarket bedding sets not fitting the duvet/pillows properly?

Is it covers you need or the duvet and pillows or both?

Can recommend Dunelm for the duvet and pillows, they have a great selection and good display for you to see.

As for bedding and pillow covers never had any from them, everything we have had from Next has lasted though.

TK Maxx often have high end Egyptian cotton stuff cheap. Bit hit and miss what's in store though.

Gotta say I bought some sheets from Tesco Direct last year and they've been excellent, much better than the fancy Egyptian cotton ones I got from JL.
