Best place for physical preorders?

Who gives you the best chance of getting the game early / on time?

I've not preordered a physical game for a long time, but a few years back shopto where the best, is that still the case?

Cost is a non issue...

Sorry for starting a thread for this, I feel pretty silly, but I couldn't find anywhere out the way to pop my question in lol.

Shopto/Amazon for release day (never got it late from these and never early)

simplygames is supposed to be good for early arrival.

I wouldn't go Amazon. I've pre-ordered twice and both came a day late. That was enough for me.

Another shout for the Game Collection. Always on the day never early for me, but I am happy with that. Their pre-order prices are good as well.

I've used Amazon, TGC, shopto and others... Usually just go for whoever is cheapest, I don't recall anyone being late.

Simplygames for me, I've had mgs 5, no man's sky and deus ex md all on the Saturday before official release.

Simplygames usual or have in my case always got me a game couple days early but mainly I use game collection now

Just to throw something different into the mix, I'm going with Smyths Toy shop for Fifa 17, based on price and the fact I am not relying on postie, i'll collect it myself on release day (£37.99 for Xbox One) and am likely to do the same for Forza Horizon 3 unless I see a cheaper alternative.
