I've heard good and bad things about Billyoh sheds and just wanted to find out anyone's opinions or experiences of these.

Is there anywhere any of you have used which have supplied a good, solid shed for a decent price?

I'm looking for a minimum of 8x6 and can go 10x6 or 8x8.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

Thanks for the recommendation, i'll check them out.

I'm from Cardiff, I should really update my profile.

Billyoh are absolute tosh, really poor quality in my experience, having put two of them up in the last year. If you want a midrange shed that won't cost a fortune, Tiger Sheds are a good choice.

Getting one of these delivered tomorrow.

Free erection service and I think delivery was £50 (I am in Derbyshire they are in wolves or brum somewhere)

They aren't the cheapest BUT all their sheds are tantalised and they use decent sized timber, I really couldn't find anyone to match them on price for the size of timber they use. Will let you know what the quality is like tomorrow once it has been delivered and built :)

I'm getting a shed installed by them in about 5 weeks so would like to hear your opinion (even see pictures if you could?).

none apart from must have a solid base. They may offer a service where they put a base down for you but as I didn't need that I didn't ask.

Shed is up by the way, arrived at 11:30 left at 13:00, it looks solid to me, happy enough with the quality. pics will be up shortly:)

single window either side of the doors then a double window in the apex of the shed, all none opening
all wood tantalised
13mm T&G cladding
72 x 42mm (2" x 3") CLS framework
72 x 42mm Floor bearers
72 x 42mm CLS Rood joists
23mm (1 inch) thick floorboards
13mm t&G rood boards

I am having a bit of a nightmare at the moment trying to track down a decent shed that somebody is actually prepared to deliver to Llanelli, South Wales.
Tigersheds wont come out this far, but they did satisfy my budget of £500 for something free of OSB and chipboard.
I don't want to break the bank as there is a possibility we will be moving next year.
UFTB quoted me £100 earlier this year to deliver and erect an 8x8 shed, which would bring the price to £600.
All local places are asking near £700 for anything vaguely similar.

How are the side panels fixed to the floor? If it was screwed together I could twist the bank managers arm on the basis that I could easily dismantle it if we move.

I believe they were screwed to the floor, I didn't watch them erect most of it.
It is a solid shed though. I would recommend them but to be fair I have only had it a couple of hours so if it does turn out to be rubbish I will of course let everyone know.
I think my delivery was £50 and I am a lot closer than you so £100 doesn't sound too bad at all :)

I bought a billyoh 8x10ft shed about 3 years about. Took me about an hour or so to put up. Pretty happy with it. Can't remember the price tbh, but wasn't disappointed.

Last year, after moving house i used an ebay company to deliver and erect a 14x10ft t&g tanalised shed with 2 windows (one opener) and double fronted doors. Cost me £780 in total and they delivered and fitted on a sunday, travelling to Nottingham from Dudley.
Well impressed, love my man shed. 7ft high to the apex too, so plenty of head room.
Wish i could remember the company cos i want a 7x9ft one to go next to it now.

I've been thinking about one of these sheds, but having trouble sorting out a shed base. Turns out I can't get a concrete base laid for less then 500.
Do you think its worth going for the 19mm cladding?

Are those council slab paving?

It'll probably be the same company as pictured above as they're just down the road from where I work which is around the Dudley area.
