So I don't mean a motor bike but tbh I miss cycling and years ago I had a hard tail specialized bike which I loved.

I used to swear by Evans cycles but seem expensive these days, any other recommendations?

If I wanted a cheap way back in I'd consider a Calibre from Go outdoors or a Voodoo from Halfords.

I bought bikes from Tredz in the past and their customer service is great.

Good sites of note.

Rutland cycles
Wiggle
Crc (part of wiggle)
Tredz
Paul's cycles
Winstanley
Evans

Was doing further research and even bike above and others I liked look of all out of stock.

Seems impossible to get a bike from anywhere at the price bracket am looking at :(

If you work PAYE - then through your works cycle to work scheme - you get up to 45% discount - if not then I'd recommend canyon. they do have an outlet part on their site but their bikes seem to be a lot better than the rest and german engineering. they come very well packaged and you can use their packaging to take your bike abroad
