I would have gone direct, but I see a high street department store seems to offer a 3 years warranty for now extra cost over the price fixed Apple RRP....

As I don't have any trips through an airport planned seems the best deal?
Looks I have until the 26th to decide......

Will be a business account purchase, looking at a new iPad Air to replace my 2, haven't decide on a MBP to replace my MB-Air yet.... and don't do an iPhone either...

Any other options ?

It is easier for me as I get the Higher Education discount so for £50 I'd just get it direct through apple. I guess it all depends on wether you can get that deal. Whilst the free-3 year deal is good, it all depends on the customer service. If it was John Lewis, for instance then I wouldn't hesitate, however if it was joe blogs shop down the road that might be closed down in 6 months... I'd be more skeptical.

Things like this i usually buy from JL. Customer service and extended warranty/guarantee is just brilliant.

That's where my iPad Mini Retina came from.

Unless you can get some form of business discount, I'd say JL every time, purely because of their warranty (and their warranty service is actually great).

I bought mine from JL, but the MK apple store business team do all the support in terms of genius appointments etc, no different to the products I have bought directly from them.

Picked it up today from local waitrose store, yes ordered from John Lewis, and the website still says 3 years free guarantee included, quite easy to see.
Ordered a Speck case in black, they sent a blue one....
