Found some EUR in a draw last night and a few other currencies from previous holidays, I really should cash them in.

I'm in London, can get into central London in 10 mins on the train from where I live, is this the best place to look (has a network of multiple branches).

Or are there any other recommendations?

Also, I assume booking online to click and sell first is cheaper usually than just turning up to the shop?

I always used “Thomas exchange” in the past, best rates I ever found, but I never sold any € or $ back to them, I always kept them as I thought that I was bound to go to Europe or the U.S. again.
I could be wrong, but I think that you get a better rate when ordering on line.
I’d park my cab on the rank at Liverpool Street if using that branch, but Canary Wharf was better, rank always had spaces.
There’s a branch on the ground floor of London Bridge Station too.

Cheers Jean, I think I'll probs go with them then.

Don't you have family over in Europe? Could sell them your Euros and get a better price no?

I guess I know a couple of Bulgarians and could ask them if they want to give me £50 for those ones but it's not going to make a huge difference, might as well do them all in one go.

What sort of quantity are you talking about?

Not a huge amount or anything about £200 worth in EUR and like approx £50, £100 etc.. amounts in some other currencies (Bulgarian, Hungarian, Latvian). It's a few hundred £s in total, I probably won't make a special trip but I do live in London so it's easy enough to go to nip to a decent place.

Could hold a little bit back for airport taxis for next holidays etc.. but don't really need that amount in a draw.

Took me a second or two there, draw? I thought that you were talking about a raffle, or pulling names from a hat, then the one cent euro coin dropped, you meant drawer!
You are my wife’s long lost brother, and I claim my £5.00.

Oops, I'm quite possibly dyslexia tbh... though was never tested for it as a kid, autocorrect/spell checkers usually save me but not in cases like that!

Tesco and Debenhams used to be decent

Cheers, will take a look.
