Hi,

I do have Gigabyte 980 FE with NZXT Kraken 10 and x41 on it and planning to sell it as trying to get 1080ti. Any advice where I can sell it and for how much?

I think your only options is EBay or Gumtree, Members Market would've been ideal but you need to have more posts to be allowed on there

Others may have alternative places they know you could list it on the net

MM seems down or i cant see it yet despite post count?

cex sells a 980 for £210, ive seen them on gumtree for more and while cex rep can be questionable anyone in the know would buy from them for the warranty they offer.

£98 would be cash value with them or £140 voucher towards whatever in the shop, a TI is £126 cash £180 voucher and water cooled ones £152-235 cash depending on what it is, they only have 4 listings under the 980 range and i cant post the link for rules of the forum.

saying that though, they sell a 970 around £170 and private they up from 100-200 depending what version etc.

And some us don't think they'll ever reach 1,000 posts. I remember when it was 250 posts and I still haven't reached that number...

Nah, cant make it to 1k posts. Cant be so active atm. Will try ebay or other place. Thank you for help
Hmm getting to 1k in short time is nothing more than spam feast:D Gumtree make a nice photo and so on and is easy sell.. Btw are we allowed to talk about it?

The reason it is so "much" is to avoid abuse. If its difficult to obtain then you are much less likely to get scammers if there is work involved in actually getting access (which is swiftly removed if rules are broken).

Wait until Ebay sends you a offer to sell for a pound and then try on there. I did that with my old GTX780 last year. I sold it for £150 when they were only selling for £100 on here. I had a good experience too seeing as it was a buyer with 0 feedback but he was a genuine guy and I had no problems (10 months have since passed so I am safe). People can open a claim for up to 6 months on stuff bought on Ebay which is just wrong but it is what it is and that is something to consider. You could try Gumtree but only accept cash on collection. I have noticed quite a few pc components being sold locally on Gumtree now.

Depends how long you've had 1000+ posts, I believe it takes upto 48 hours after reaching the 1K mark for a Mod to activate your MM privileges.
I hit over a 1000 posts months ago, I still don't have access, mind you I don't know where it is I need look

Careful on what you discuss on here as a ban hammer might be forthcoming.

Selling on Ebay is a minefield. If you sell the GPU there make sure you take screenshots of it working and of the serial number. Show the screenshots of it working on the auction too. Leave no excuse for the buyer to return it.
There are a lot of idiot buyers on Ebay at the moment. I've been selling stuff on there for years and the latest trend is for buyers to win an auction then not pay and/or not even reply back to you chasing them. Second chance offers was an attempt by Ebay to assist with this but that is a bit of a pain too. Then you have to wait 6-10 days to get your fee back and in the meantime you cant relist your item unless you risk it. You can't leave negative comments to buyers, you can report them but fat lot of good it does. Although saying that I did report a buyer that was messing me about who tried to claim against me and due to my evidence against him (I kept documents and screenshots of the item working) Ebay did not refund his money. Believe me its not all rosey.
