Hi all,
I have a zalman MFC2 temp/fan controller unit.
I have set up the temperature sensors to monitor the cpu, and my 3 sata drives.
The sata drives were easy enough, just attached them to the top of each drive with the sticker, temps are between 28c and 33c at idle.
I dont actually know exactly where to put the cpu sensor though. I didnt think it was such a good idea to place it directly between the cpu and the cpu coolers base and have opted instead to attach it to the metal case that the cpu sots in. Temps are 31c to 33c at idle up to 41c to 44c at load.
I am sure the drive temps are fine and recording accuratly enough, , but i am not so sure about the cpu sensors accuracy, given its present placement.
Where exactly, should i be placing the cpu sensor ? ? ?
The Zalman manual isnt very clear about placement of the sensors.
Many thanks, , kev
