Best Plex client box

What's your opinion? I've been running mine side loaded on NOW TV boxes quite happily for over a year now and it's fine but the menu is ugly and subtitles aren't supported unless hardcoded. Not sure whether to stick with Roku or get a Nexus player or similar.

I quite like the look of the Shield. Would be able to stream from my GFX card to it as well. Shame it's so expensive.

Anyone tried the Nexus player?
