Obviously jawbox jambox and jabra solemate are the two big guns.
Are these actually the best, in that pprice/size catogrey.
Tv, movies, audible, music everything realy, I spend a lot of time in hotels /vans/ kitchen/ garden in summer and well ipad speakers are crap, laptop speakers are crap, phone speakers are crap.

Hi

I would suggest the Antec SP1 speaker, OcUK have them on This Week Only this week too, they are great. I use mine all the time.

Buy it try it, if your not happy DSR it ;)

as much as i hate to agree with captain advertising ^

i have an antec SP1 and it is great for having some music in a room, i used it on a recent stag do in berlin and all the lads there commented on how impressed they were with it.

Im gonna get bashed here for being a fan of some of there products....

But if budget permits.... Bose SoundLink Mini.

It gets rated better then the Big Jambox in many places in terms of sound and is a lot smaller as well.

Having had a play around myself with one and listened to some of my music I have to say I was really impressed.

Hhm can a cheap speaker really be one of the best.
Soundlink gets great reviews, the only thing I don't like about it, is it proprietary charger cable. Why cant it just be micro usb, like everything else.

I picked up a Jabra Solemate cheap from my local HMV few weeks back. Very impressed with it.

Not the greatest of sound quality, but it's good and loud enough for most things.

Just been reading up on thhe creative airwave hd, and well i wont be buying it due to the sound, however it does have one feature i would love, it can have to devices connected at the same time and when one device stope and the other device plays, it autonaticall swaps. Do any off the better speakers have this feature? As 90% of the time i will have two devices connected and be switching between the two. Also apt-x stnadard seems liike a good feature that improves soound, but doesnt appear to be on many speakers yet.
