I am looking to purchase a second monitor to use in portrait mode for programming/other and was wondering if you have any good suggestions?

I don't really have a budget but try to keep it sensible.

Thanks!

I would suggest the ViewSonic VP2365wb (review here).

It is a nice quality monitor (uses a high quality EIPS panel), is well priced and the stand it comes with allows it to rotate into portrait mode.

Also, because it uses an IPS type panel - the horizontal viewing angles when viewed in portrait mode (ie vertical viewing angles when in standard mode) are very good compared to standard TN panel monitors.
