Currently have:

2500k @ 4.5ghz
Asus P8P67
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
Gigabyte ATi Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X 3072MB

Thinking about getting one of the newest Intel CPU's, not sure it's worth it though? If not, get a new GFX card and faster memory?

R9 390.
Wouldn't really bother getting faster memory tbh, if anything try to get another 8GB but not really worth it for just gaming, just suggested it as prices are quite low at the minute.

*edit* - don't bother with the memory as you will probably want/need to upgrade CPU in a couple of years and will be needing DDR4 then anyway.

I would do a full overhaul but that's just me. I went from a 2600k to a 5960X and I love it. The 2500k is still a good cpu but not HT. It's basically however much you want to spend and then see what's best.

How much have you got to spend? The performance increase you'll get from the new chips will be pretty decent, but whether or not its worth it will depend on your price limit.

Overhaul not worth it imo, 2500K still a good cpu to have plus you'd need to replace mobo. Better graphic card and an SSD and you'll see a big improvement.
