There arent that many games I will ever play on the PS4 other than FIFA and a lot of that will be with mates actually in the same room as me using the additonal controllers.

Guest account will mean the contols will have to be configured everytime the game is loaded and only my controls will be saved etc.

So do I create a whole bunch of accounts called FIFA 1, FIFA 2, FIFA 3 etc for each controller other than the one associated with my own account? That way if there are 4 of us I dont need to setup the controls a whole bunch of times.

I dont get it, am I missing something obvious?

Thanks for the help.

I too would like to know the answer to this,as both my son,and grandson play Fifa on my ps4 together.

I could set up each one friend an account and not associate it with any PSN account etc, this would work but I only have two controllers.

Say I have 3 mates round, I play one with a certain set of controls then I want to play the other who has a certain set of controls, that would mean quitting FIFA and associating the controller with his account then re-loading again, just seems mental but I am suspicious im over thinking this.

Right I have the answer.

Even if you create a different control set as your primary account (IE you) other accounts cannot toggle to use this, Custom A can only be set by a player who has that saved to their account, so you can set it up when logged in as guest but it won't be their next time nor can what you setup under your account be available to a guest or different user.

What you have to do is create accounts for other users, seems like a ball ache but in hindsight it's pretty cool. So switch on the controller and create a new account but don't associate with PSN or anything unless they actually have a PSN account but for this purpose it ain't relevant. Load the game as that user, set up the controls how you want and pick the favourite team for that player etc. Now that will save to that account permanently.

I did this for 4 of my buddies, create accounts using their names rather than FIFA 1, 2 etc, now when they come round and turn on a controller they associate it with their account and thus their saved settings are a available to them in the game if when it's loaded by a different user.

Took a bit of time to add them all in but it's done now, also good for any other game you wanna play, anything that user changes will always be like that for them and them alone.
